Our Story
SHI Phangan Villas was born from a simple idea: that luxury travel doesn't have to mean impersonal service and generic experiences. Nestled in the heart of Koh Phangan, our 17 villas — 3 Superior (3 bedrooms) and 14 Deluxe (2 bedrooms) — were designed to offer the comfort and space of a private home with the amenities of a premium resort.
Every detail has been considered - from the teak wood accents and quality textiles in each room to the tropical gardens that surround the property. We wanted to create a space where guests can truly unwind, whether they're lounging by the pool, working out in our outdoor gym, or exploring the island.
As a privately-owned property, we offer something the large hotel chains can't: genuine, personal attention to every guest. When you book direct with us, you're not just getting a room - you're getting hosts who care about making your stay exceptional.
What Makes Us Different
We're not a hotel chain and we never will be. SHI is privately owned — when something matters to our guests, it matters to us personally.
Every villa was designed the way we'd want to live ourselves — spacious, quiet, and surrounded by green. We didn't cut corners because we knew we'd notice if we did.
And we must be doing something right — our guests have given us a consistent 5.0 rating on Airbnb, and many of them come back year after year.
The Property
Our resort comprises 17 spacious villas — 14 Deluxe Two Bedroom villas (138 m² each) and 3 Superior Three Bedroom villas (190 m² each) — set within lush tropical gardens.
Shared amenities include two swimming pools with sun loungers and umbrellas, an outdoor fully-equipped gym, and beautifully landscaped gardens filled with tropical trees and flowers.
We're located in a quiet area of Koh Phangan, a 10-minute walk from the beach. Close enough to everything, far enough from the noise.
